Love both The Beatles & Pink Floyd equally...but to me St. Peppers is the better album..

Like them both, but the edge goes to Pepper.

I voted Dark side. I'm not even sure if Pepper is my favorite Beatles album although it is still great and clearly a groundbreaking album. What I find remarkable about Sgt. Pepper's is the sound quality and production for the time period. It sounds better than many albums that came out one, two, three or several years later. Still, I went with DSOTM because I think it flows better and has more of a wow factor(even though there is still some "wow" in Peppers).

No vote. Both are overrated IMO.

There would be no Dark Side without Sgt. Pepper's.

I do consider both albums to be sort of equivalents within both bands discography, but I easily prefer Dark Side. I like it more as a whole and I like more songs from it and I feel it flows better and is more consistent.

You are 50 years old and they have played these songs all over the radio over the last 50 years......and you have only heard one track...by E W &F..?
Really? Were you on a desert island the first 40 years..?

| Its common knowledge around these parts that I am of the 0.0001% of the world population who really has no liking for the Beatles, never have and never will. True they are played beyond to death on the radio but I have selective hearing ...and for the past 20yrs have really not listened much to FM.

Sometimes I'll meet or run into or hear about people who either don't like, don't care for or outright detest the Beatles. In some regards they are over rated but I would never under estimate their influence. Have they been played out? Maybe but so has Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and a bunch of other "classic rock." For me personally I think the Beatles were strongest as a singles band(or song band). What I mean by that is that many of their songs were great but they didn't have a full album that seems totally satisfactory from start to finish(Sgt. Pepper's possibly comes closest though) like Pink Floyd does.

DSotM. I don't particularly care for Sgt. Pepper's. There are better Beatles albums.

Sgt. Pepper but only because of the cut-outs inside the sleeve. I mean, who even listens to the albums they buy anyways.
