cobb's topic about that other album with the same title reminded me of this album...
Fantomas have really outdone themselves with this... what the hell do you call it? More than progressive metal, this sounds like RIO fused with anything it can get its hands on. Have a sample, one of the thirty tracks! Edited by Man Overboard |

Your topic certainly confused me I was hoping it would be a Fantomas topic... I should go to your topic and contribute a piece of trivia.

You can both edit your topic subjects and add (Petrucci)/(Fantomas) BTW: The new Fantomas album is great, but IMO their debut is still better than anything else they did. Edited by MikeEnRegalia |

You need a good spanking, tied to Lombardo/Bozzio's drum set with your head between two cymbals. |

Yes spank me please! That is like so prog! I like "Director`s Cut" really good idea, good music. But "Suspended Animation" isn`t for me I just don`t dig this album. But if Petrucci would join them I think it would be far more better album. Yes, this is it. Next time when I`ll meet Patton I will tell him to get Petrucci to the band. |

Agreed, Fantomas are way more creative and innovative than Petrucci or DT. But that won't keep me from listening to Awake or ACoS. |

fantomas delivrium cordia was a bit iffy but suspended animation is brilliant. they pretty much pull off all the tricks in the book. absolute madness.

Suspended Animation is okay. Definetly not Fantomas' best, or anywhere near it in fact. Fun but not much else. Id still suggest it for album art alone.

Director's Cut is quite good, but definitely takes a lot of listens to fully appreciate. Their absolute best is their debut. |

its a damn fun album, thats for sure. Haha, Nick and i were on the bus the other day with it playing on my ipod and we went crazy. Headbanging and the whole deal. We got some strange looks. Although its almost too much fun to listen to, it doesnt move me emotionally like other Fantomas releases, which is kinda dissapointing. |

If we're comparing the two, I'm partial to John Petrucci, but I really have nothing against Fantomas. I did like the Fantom-ass remark, though; real clever. |
