Man I need to re-visit Big Fun, I had a hard time getting into that one.

Two legends right there in Zappa and Davis. Could they have worked together? Tough call when you've got two strong leaders in the same band no?

Heyyy that was too easy mister. It would be nice to see one Avant album make it to the next round. Only two rounds after this one.

So this was a very difficult choice to make, but I decided on Bitches Brew. Even though One Size Fits All is my personal favorite Zappa record, BB has to take it because I consider it a landmark album. Not an easy decision, but pound for pound. I think BB is more influential. This is by far the hardest poll I've come across yet!

Zappa is the winner for me. I listen to One Size much more than Bitches Brew. Both great albums though.

Unquestionably two amazing records. This was still such a hard choice for me. I listened to both records immediately to pay penance for having to choose, .

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one torn with this poll! It's still so close (Zappa leads right now)!
I need to listen to both records again today.

I thought your avatar gave your intentions away as far as your vote goes but maybe not.

Big Fun was much more of an instant like for me but then again Bitches was probably my first Jazzalbum-purchase ever so a lot of aspects about it took more getting used to compared to everything that followed.
Do yourself a favor and listen to Great Expectations ASAP. 27 and a half minutes of pure magic. Have you the original version or the one with an extra album worth of bonus material?

I actually ended up changing my avatar TO Bitches Brew after this poll made me want to listen to said record...three times in a row!
