As much as I adore Flying Teapot and Pip Pyle's drumming, it's when Pierre Moerlen got behind the stool that things really took off. One of THE most capable fusion drummers of the 70s imho.

One of the lessons i've learned frm these polls is that the early psychedelic period of Gong is very popular and so i've tried to get into their albums more as a result. Moerlen is incredible no doubt.
