The new project of Franco Battiato  is called Joe Patti's Experimental Group. 
The album is due to be release on September 14th 2014 and will be "experimental and electornic".


The band lineup consists in:

Franco Battiato - Keyboards and Piano
Pino Pischetola - Live electronics
Carlo Guaitoli - Piano

A song from the album is already available on iTunes and an Italian tour is started on the 6th of September. The song is taken from the early album "Clic", "proprieta' Proibita (Forbidden Property) but it's totally revisited.

The album is released by Universal Music.

I'm curious to hear if it's in the vein of "Fetus" or of "L'Egitto Prima Delle Sabbie".

Well now, that's a piece off the Clic album.  Never thought I'd see that performed live.
