two bands who plays artsy alt/punk in similar wain to AtDI, Coheed and Cambria, Weezer?, who is ambitious and great. for fans of Mew and Mars Volta i guess, great sound on the albums, often artsy and cool.

It got mellotrons Tongue, i will say it fits into the "new-prog" ike the Mars Volta, Coheed and Cambria, Porcupine Tree, Motorpyscho, Dredg, Muse, Mew, Pinapple Thief, Radiohead etc

I don't see Trail of Dead or Thrice much connected with Coheed or Weezer. Coheed and Cambria aren't punk for sure. Thrice is closer to Weezer than Trail of Dead for sure.

I don't really like Thrice, but I do like early Trail of Dead.
