A sympathy vote for Traffic. PFM is wonderful, but the disparity between these groups should not be so large. Also Steve Winwood was a supporter of a group that I really love; Jade Warrior.

Traffic was part of a gateway into better music for me. For that I will always love them but they never absolutely astounded me like PFM did when I first heard them. The same goes for live performances and I have seen both. Perhaps that is why the voting is more lopsided than was expected.

I love Traffic and listen to them very often, but they have no chance against PFM. My fellow Italians are (among other things) one of the best live bands on the face of the Earth.

Like a good scotch, Traffic is an acquired taste.  They get my vote.

PFM, easy.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Premiata Forneria Marconi.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Really, truly we need a "love 'em both option", that should make things look more accurate and give me something to tick. We are "critiquing" creative artists here not voting for blasted, loathsome, evil politicians... unless it's the Cream tune... ;)

In truth I have not listened to much Traffic, but I have to go with PFM for sheer volume of work.
