I just realize that it makes all sense of the world to have this album here. "Tropicalia" was an artistic manifesto from 1968, heavily inspired in the psychdelic movement, the concrete poetry and the anthropofagy movement from the early 20's.

In the album, several brazilian artists (some included already in PA) played a great variety of music. Os Mutantes, Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Tom Zé, Gal Costa and Nara Leão, with the regency of Rogério Duprat. From psychdelia to protest songs, its one of the most important and experimental album of brazilian music.
