"Kiss me kiss me kiss me"

That's an album, not an invitation..

It's possibly my favourite Cure album. A good solid double album with some strange atmospheres and cracking songs. You can probably check it out on Youtube.

Worth checking out Pornography too and Seventeen Seconds. I have a soft spot for The Head on the Door, but some consider that a bit poppy.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Pornography is the only of The Cure's albums that have really impressed me that much so far, so I say you go for that one. I'm not sure I'm exactly their target audience, though, since that one was Robert Smith's attempt to create an "unlistenable" album.

I think I like it so much because it has this dark colourful dystopian futuristic feel that the 1980s were so good at nailing.

Faith and Pornography if you want to get into the band's darker material. Wish and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, if you want something a little brighter. I'd also recommend Head on the Door.

Great Cure chart....do they have them for other bands?

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Well, my first Cure album was "Wish", I understand that this is not one of their best, but neither the worst ...

... personally, I love this album, very sad, very dark, nostalgic feeling ...

... it is my favorite album from Cure's discography

For me, Faith, Seventeen Seconds and Pornography are the absolute essentials of the earlier darker period. Frankly I'm a fan of even the lighter stuff. Smith is simply one of the greats as far as I'm concerned.
