Guys I feel the need to introduce this band to ProgArchives.  They have totally blown my mind and easily are the best album of 2015, and -that quick- became one of my top 10 Progressive Metal bands of all time and that is quite a statement, especially for just having released one album.  A very powerful statement indeed they have made I'd say. They are pretty new and are not on here.

They are called Earthside, and their debut album is called "a Dream in Static."

This band really deserves recognition, for they are beyond words, just completely INCREDIBLE.   They are entirely Prog to the core, and I'd call it "Epic Cinematic Prog-Metal."  I believe and hope that everybody will give them a listen and give them good ratings.  I believe its a 5 star album and there is a lot of Symphonic Prog out there but I've never heard it done this way... like an epic movie more than the traditional symphonic.  And chops, they have it in spades.  I truly believe this is the best album of 2015, even upon first listen and it's such a pleasure to hear such a fresh sounding Modern Prog Metal band that really has their own unique sound.

They should definitely be on here, no doubt about that.  They should be listened to by everybody possible and I believe it will be almost all 5 star ratings.  I know you guys on here listen to the superior music that is prog and will recognize the superior ability of this amazing act.

Here's the link to their website:  http://earthsideband.com/

Here's a link to their debut album stream on Youtube in its entirety:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu62Q1N64zc

Do give it a listen, I promise it is worth your time.

I've been watching/ listening/ learning from here forever and it is my favorite music site of all time... and has given me the proper education in what real music is, for many years now.  By now, I can't listen to anything BUT prog for the most part.  I have just been mostly silent.  This band is that amazing, where i just have to introduce them to you guys.

Thanks, and I hope you guys enjoy this album as much as I do.

How do we start a page for them?

Bloody Hell!

I've just been raving about this album on another site and have them at number 2 on my Prog albums of 2015...and they are not already included here on ProgArchives.

What to deuce?

Amazing album. Fantastic five star recommendation from me!
