Hello fine people, I'm looking for a very specific sound and atmosphere of prog/alternative music and am having much trouble finding new bands.  It's difficult to describe fully what I'm looking for but I'll give it a shot

Music with a slow to moderate tempo and a almost a old western undertone to it. Kind of like the last 15 seconds of "Sisters" by Pain of Salvation when it fades out with the marching snare beat and the fading guitar.

2nd would be similar to the above description only with a eastern vibe to it, similar to "Pink Cigarette" by Mr. Bungle

Similar artists:
Mr. Bungle
Pain of Salvation
Tea Party
Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Forest Temple/Spirit Temple
Timber Timbre
Pink Floyd - Careful with that Axe Eugene

I know my descriptions are all over the place but anything that you think is similar is more than welcomed.

Thank You!

Check out Wovenhand or Bruce Lamont.

This doesn't have a lot to do with what you are looking for but for some unknown reason it popped into my mind....I used to play this weird band a lot back in the day....strange  music for driving through the southwest....

Also thought of these guys....not sure why even though they were Brits they made me think of the American southwest with doomy weird occult lyrics....they did wear 'dusters' while performing.

For old western sound maybe you can find something on John Zorn - The Big Gundown. Or even original Morricone western soundtrack music.
