As you may have heard, I am all about the wonderful music coming out of the 21st Century. Here are my ten favorite albums from 2000 (prog and non-prog mixed):

	In my Top 200 list that I compiled for the PA top albums list in January, the best placed album from the 21st century was... A Hidden Place by Sohrab (Rank 7). This is sound experiment avantgarde and sold probably a couple of hundred copies only, I guess nobody will know it here. Next is Barbara Morgenstern, The Grass is Always Greener on 17. Then there are Knive and Black Tie by Svarte Greiner and Archpelago by Hidden Orchestra among the Top 50, and Juxtaposition by Radian and L'ile resonante by Eliane Radigue shortly after. Only three of my top 10 albums from the period are listed on Progarchives, namely Swans - Seer (35) Swans - To Be Kind (46) William D. Black Emperor - Lift your Skinny Fists like Antennas to Heaven Don Caballero - American Don Ensemble Nimbus - Garmonbozia Taal - Mister Green Ruins - Pallaschtom Year 2000 album releases I've been meaning to get are Rational Diet's From the Grey Notebook and Thierry Zaboitzeff's The Fantomaticks Bands (Dr. Zab. Vol. 2) and Gilgamesh's Arriving Twice (though I wouldn't count that one as it's a posthumous release consisting of tracks recording from 1973 to 1975).
