Ouch! He was the greatest songwriter of his generation hands down. If you've never heard it, search out the Fairport Convention version of Suzanne on Youtube. Sandy Denny and Ian Mathews simply nailed this great song.

RIP

Famous Blue Raincoat has always blown me away. A great artist who has left us richer with the work that he leaves behind for us to enjoy and to contemplate in the future. I don't think that the true power of Cohen's work has really been felt or understood yet.
