I only have 1 Etron Fou LP, and stack of Rush ones, but that EF album ( les 3 fous...........) impresses me more than Rush.

Rush are basically what The Dixie Chicks would've sounded like if they'd been French-Canadian

THe Necromancer.. all anyone needs to know of Rush LOLThumbs Up

The rest?  Just the product of geekdom on high and perhaps the best example (through strongly rivaled by the SWilson army) of having mediocre albums raised on high by legions of acne scarred, pimple popping fanboys hah

Yessir! Clap

The Necromancer is legendary. The gold standard of D&D prog, as you've so affectionately (and perfectly) described it. One of the cultural treasures that makes me truly proud to be Canadian. They only went downhill from there.

But Rush isn't French Canadian. French Canada is where the best Canadian prog is generally at, imo.

Strange is good when appropriately giftwrapped.
