Hi I'm looking for Japanese Jazz or Jazz rock with Japanese lyrics. I can't seem to come across any, they all seem to be English vocals. I'm even looking for just a song or two (for a school project). Thank you, am I missing something?

Here is a site that has a lot of Japanese jazz and fusion, try asking your question there:

The only one I can think of is Saki Kono - she's local to the San Francisco Bay Area, her latest album has some songs where she did Japanese lyrics for classic jazz songs (e.g., Stardust). Here's her website, Dream Passage is her latest album, hopefully it will help your project. Akira Tana & Otonowa is the backing band, they do some stuff where they play jazz versions of classic Japanese folk songs, but no singing.

Exactly there are very few Japanese jazz rock / fusion combos singing in Japanese according to my humble knowledge ... Djamra (with little lyrics)?
