Imagination and fear seems to go hand in hand; what is most present in holydays is all the various movies and stories derived from the combination of fear, imagination, wonder and timeless worlds that stretches in forever and which seclution on only seems to exist if one lett it, but reallu can excist forever. Dr Seuss world is full of imagination which explores wonder and fear. From Grinch to Horton Hears a Who. Horton Hears a Who baffeld me when i saw it first, so imaginative.

I can remember some Dr Seuss books from primary school. First year reading.That's the only reason I can give for voting. Although Sendak's "Where the wild things are" is another memorable book, but we did not get a chance to cover it in primary school.

Seuss, easily, in my childhood. Very original, clever, funny, and fantastical stuff. The roots of my later love of fantasy and sci fi likely like there. I LOVED Bartholomew and the Oobleck.

Oh, Sendak without question. One of the finest illustrators.. well, ever. And those books: In the Night Kitchen, Higglety Pigglety Pop!, not to mention WtWTA. It doesn't get any better.

Dr. Seus' writing is superior. Maurice Sendak's artwork is superior. For me, the artwork means more on personal level, due to my Bachelor's degree having been in fine art.
