Stephen is 10 years older and has a few years more of carear with some brilliant timeless work as West Side Story before Andrew got hes career going. Both have timeless classics and widly recogniced pieces of music.

Leonard Bernstein wrote all the music for West Side Story and Sondheim wrote only the lyrics. Regardless, Noel Coward tramples over all three as far as 'book and music' are concerned.

I like musicals by both, but I have enjoyed more Webber. And bonus points to Webber for Jesus Christ Superstar helping to inspire AD/BC: A Rock Opera (along with musicals such as Godspell).
