So now we start the second round with the winners & runners up from round 1. There are 6 groups with the winners and top 2 runners up going to the quarter finals. No winner and runner up from the first round are in the same group in the second round.

Pick your favorite.

I rarely listen to Avant-Garde Prog but when I do it's Henry Cow, Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa

Though I'm voting for Guapo, Henry Cow is very, very close behind.

Hmmm. Henry Cow and Guapo are two bands that given their importance and who plays in them I should love more than I actually do. Not that I dislike them and  the Cow in particular has some very good stuff, but still they don't click with me as much as one could expect. I haven't heard much from French TV and Cheer Accident but what I know is so good and so inconsistent that it makes me want to find out more. Still Group 1 dominates this one clearly in my books. A hard choice actually, I trust that Henry Cow will get enough votes (they'd probably still qualify for mine) and give it to Cheer Accident.

I like all four, but ultimately it does come down to Henry Cow and Guapo for me. I can't not vote for the Cow, and will put on Unrest right now.
