Arnold S. had Maria Shriver, daughter of a politician and the niece of John F. Kennedy, as spouse. Interesting, though, that he was a Republican married into a family of Democrat "royalty". Victoria Beckham lacks such "posh" political pedigree, but I guess her OBE makes her quite a Posh Spice (and that she gets invited to Royal weddings).

I could easily imagine Beckham being elected as an MP if he stood. Since David Beckham has been Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund, that might give him some more cred.



Beckham (OBE) might do some Nescafe commercials if he hasn't already: "Blend it like Beckham".
