This American (Kentucky) band has been around since 2004 playing a mix of experimental/prog/pop. Features members from Prog Archives bands Chest Rockwell (Josh Hines) and Bass Invaders (Josh Hines, Matt Bitner). The music utilizes a lot of dynamics and mixed meter timing blended with heavy effects on guitars and synths to create a unique spacey/proggy sound.

Formed in 2004, Technology Vs Horse began as an experimental avant-garde rock band. After the departure of the original drummer in 2005 they began writing more focused songs that genre-hopped for their second album. In 2007 the band added keyboardist David Prater and fully developed their prog/synth sound for their third album Bearula the Bear Dracula. This line-up would stay together for 10 years releasing three more albums and a couple singles. During the early stages of writing for a potential 7th album, TVH broke up in 2017. A year later the band released the live album from the final show along with a live album from 2008. After a 3 year break up the band reunited for a show in 2020 with plans to write and record again in 2021.

Is that a rejection? The 2009 and 2016 albums were very progressive.
