Some more goodies but yeah "Yeti" is here. I'm such a fan of early Can and Malcolm Mooney. I feel like I appreciate this album more than most. But still have to go Amon Duul II.

Ikarus is yet another band where the quality of the vocals (and lyrics) don't match their playing skills. Same can be said about Out of Focus imo. Still mostly excellent prog. Just like the rest of bands that won't get my vote because of Yeti. I don't consider Schwingungen or Delay to represent the best of any of those bands though.

A part of me hates to go with the obvious, but Yeti, Yeti, Yeti!

I expect the Yeti to stomp this.

Haven't heard Out Of Focus or Ikarus (let's see whether anybody writes something that makes me want to check them out), but Yeti is hard to beat.

Can't go against Yeti.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Thanks man I always like to hear your opinions. Ikarus is a tad jazzy which I like and the playing skills as you imply are excellent. Out Of Focus is vocal dominant at this point in their careers and he's an acquired taste I suppose. And talk about vocals how about John L and Ash Ra Tempel! What a character.LOL

Nice comparison with Floyd and man that album is rough around the edges and then throw in vocalist John L. Big fan of it.
