U2 or something. I'm now the subject of a backspace noise sleep pad that argues with garage doors.

5 stars 1987: U2 - The Joshua Tree - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nGUgR_6tKKC8yBHJ3M1ZV4xShoir4rXyk

I finally found what I've been looking for - all five official music videos from U2's best album.

"Poetic Champions Compose" is another great album form Van Morrison and is to my mind a companion piece to "No Guru, No Teacher, No Method".

Sally Oldfield is English not Irish.
Across the evening sky,
all the birds are leaving,
But how can they know,
it's time for them to go?
Before the winter fire,
I will still be dreaming,
I have no thought of time.

Sally Oldfield was born in Dublin, which gives her dual Anglo-Irish citizenship. Sally is also listed on ProgArchives as an Irish singer, so that's good enough for me.  Wink

Her citizenship is irrelevant as is place of birth according to nationality law. As the Duke of Wellington, born in Ireland, famously said, while proclaiming being English by blood and heritage, "If a dog is born in a stable, that doesn't make it a horse."
Using place of birth is always wrong, as in which case that would make Chain Herzog, a former President of Israel, Irish and Shane McGowan English, it also makes the very Englishmen Jonathan Swift and Oliver Goldsmith Irish. Accident of birth place does not define nationality.

Sorry, to keep pressing this, but it is important. Eamon de Valera, the former Irish president and great republican was born in the US, but he is Irish. Whereas Winston Churchill is half American through his mother. James Connolly, one of the greatest Irish heroes was born in Scotland to Irish parents. Cliff Richard and Spike Milligan were born in India. The list is long.
Across the evening sky,
all the birds are leaving,
But how can they know,
it's time for them to go?
Before the winter fire,
I will still be dreaming,
I have no thought of time.

Well, it's a good thing Sally Oldfield was born in Ireland from my point of view, or I wouldn't have been able to celebrate her marvellous music here in the Irish Albums polls.
Hey! Hey! Come on! Come on! Won't you join in the Celebration? Smile

4 stars 1987: Enya - Enya - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aj5S0G92npg

Enya's theme music for the TV series "The Celts" which presumably featured lots of sporrans, haggis, bagpipes and men in skirts. Smile
