Residuos Mentales is an instrumental, progressive rock studio project from Athens, Greece.
They have released two studio albums so far “Introspection”  in 2018 and “A Temporary State Of Bliss” from 2023. The both  albums received very positive reviews.Their music a mixture of 70's progressive rock, cinematographic music, metal ambient, electronica and elements from Greek  music. The members of the band are Stratos Morianos (keyboards) and Alexandros Mantas (guitar, bass guitar, flute)
You can listen to the albums here :

The biography is a bit on the short side, and we really need to have a recognised Progarchives sub genre in the topic title to get the suggestion noticed by one of the teams.

The first album 'Introspection' is very pastoral and cinematic in its overall scope, being a mixture of ambient, film score, folk and classical music really, with very little rock content apart from the final track, but based on the second album 'A Temporary State of Bliss', I think that this artist is most likely going to fall under the Symphonic Prog umbrella.

---------------------------------------------------------------

RESIDUOS MENTALES is an instrumental progressive rock studio project based in Athens, which started in 2012 and consists of Stratos MORIANOS (VERBAL DELIRIUM) on keyboards, synthesizers, strings and percussion plus Alexandros MANTAS on guitars, flute and bass. After several years of developing their compositional style, the pair joined forces with several guest artists in 2018 to produce their debut album 'Introspection'.

The duo are influenced by the traditional progressive rock of the 1970s (CAMEL, KING CRIMSON, GENESIS), but they also integrate cinematographic music, electronica and elements from Greek music into the overall mix.

In 2023, after a five-year absence from the music scene, RESIDUOS MENTALES signed with OOB Records and returned with a second album 'A Temporary State of Bliss', in which the duo added other elements (ranging from progressive to metal to funk) to their overall sound, resulting in a much more dynamic and adventurous album than the debut.

Added, and in quick time too (would have been even quicker if the main site hadn't thrown a wobbly over the last couple of days). Thanks to Louis and the rest of the Symphonic team. Thumbs Up
