Vote for who you think was the better 70's Italian prog band.

Locanda delle fate
.. forse le lucciole non si amano pił ... is my choice First QVL is ok to i've never listened to their second (il tempo della gioia) and live cuts issued by Mellow in the nineties) |

Quella Vecchia Locanda for me. More energetic and fun. While I struggle
somewhat with the vocalist in both bands, Locanda Delle Fate's singer
completely gets in the way of any potential enjoyment. It's not that
he's particularly bad (like countless others are). I just can't stand that
approach to singing at all. It ruins the whole listening experience for
me.

Wouldn't know how to determine which of these bands is "better" or "superior" (if it would be between Justin Bieber and Locanda delle fate, it would be a bit easier...). I have a slight preference for one over the other. No vote though, because it is not a question I can answer honestly.

I used to be very big on Italian Symphonic Prog. I have LDF's Forse le lucciole non si amano pił and QVL's Il tempo della gioia, but I have not listened to either in considerable years. That side, I did considerably prefer Il tempo della gioia. I won't say which is the superior band -- I'm not comfortable with bests commonly unless it's best for me. Re the opening post... But I will vote for QVL as it is better for my tastes based on the albums I mentioned.

I like but don't love both of them. Generally I'm more in the mood for LOcanda della Fate

QVL seems in general to be more appreciated, and mainly because they've made two high-rated albums while LdF only one.

I like this poll it had me thinking but I went with Locanda Delle Fate and voted earlier. Their Live in Bloom album is also very good I think from 2012. The singer has so much character in his voice.
