The name of the Canadian band was “Perth County Conspiracy”.   There was also a band called WOMB that was in the same vein as yours but a bit darker. Womb was awesome! One album I think. Released on the old Paramount label... Rare

EDIT: I revisited the WOMB album, there are only 3 0r 4 songs on it that match your style of music somewhat. Still a great oldie.

Hopefully you will get some more reviews. I am not a reviewer but there are plenty around. Your band has been around a long time, do you still play or just re-releasing albums?

Thank you for listening! The Great Wall of China LIVE version was actually 8 minutes long! I cut if down to 4 minutes. One fan asked for the "long" version, so that may be an option to upload some day. I don't know about that Canadian band, but three of us Mormos moved to a commune in Wisconsin after Mormos, to form the Skyfarmer band. Wisconsin is almost Canada (!) Skyfarmer was a natural progression after Mormos (more like progressive county rock). I will follow up on your recommendations to send to the places you suggest. I will still like to pursue getting more reviews here on prog archives as well.

I had a listen to The Great wall of China LIVE   And the cello solo is really cool. Also paranoid night dreams, I liked what I heard. Old school late 60s style hippy folk rock. There was a Canadian band with lots of members who lived on a commune… I wish I could remember the name of the band name.

The lyrics to all of the songs I viewed were really quite good. And Annie the hats vocals were very good. I’m sure this music is up someone’s alley for a proper review. May I suggest sending your remastered offering to Lazland.com or Prog Rogue (on facebook). In the vein of Steeleye span without the huge production. Very real music.   Will listen to more as time permits. Thanks.

My apologies if I am posting in the wrong place, but I thought this would be a good place to start. Our group's recordings, Mormos (progressive folk from 1970s) have been reviewed on this website. In addition, your editors have posted information on our release of the new "Live" album; and currently we are working on a second "Live" album release. Now here is my new request: as I look back at the Mormos album reviews, it appears they were reviewing NOT the original CBS vinyl records; rather, they were reviewing the CD re-releases that were made by a company, Spalax. The problem is that Spalax, in 1996, did not use the studio-quality tapes (which we own); and without going into great detail, the CD recordings were clearly lower quality than the original recordings. For that reason, we decided to re-digitize the masters and release them on Bandcamp. All of this explanation leads to my question: Is it possible that I can ask for other reviewers to review the newer remastered recordings? I really hope so! The former reviewers may not have heard some of the instruments in the low-quality mix. Is there a better place to post my request? Thanks, and sorry for the long post...
