SPIRIT should be on the archives, this angers me, how are some bands on here but SPIRIT not?? I mean, even their first album, fresh garabge has so many elements to it that r just...well...PROGRESSIVE!!! not to mention twelve dreams!

COME ON  NOW! in memory of the great Randy California...PLEASE do this

Suggest this in the Bands and Albums section and perhaps you might get some feedback from some of the collaborators.

F*** yeah!

Seriously, though, Spirit were a great band.  I would be very happy to see them in the archives.

I would say they were certainly a prog influence, given they combined psychedelia with jazz and even some classical. Besides, "Stairway to Heaven" is, as everyone knows, ripped off from their "Taurus".

AMEN!

I remember hearing that song and from that point on disliking "Starway To Heaven" since...
