Well, the most hated band is the Genesis trio, which is somehow well deserved sometimes.

My vote goes to Dream Theater. By no means I can understand the oppinion many guys here have about Dream Theater. Where is their music cold?

I agree that their music is focused on technics, but they have so much emotional passages in their music. They show off very often, but not too much to find it annoying IMO. Maybe I can stand that better than many others.

In this site, i think Dream Theater is hte most hated band...

if i have to choose one band , i will choose Genesis post Gabriel , Hackett era

Most hated ??? Pretty juvenile idea IMO - I have bands I dont particularly like - but HATE ?? I dont think so

Sad to say I think Dream Theater is the most polarizing band on this site.  I'm very dissapointed in some of you, and so is my syggie.

I don't hate any of the bands mentioned in the poll, nor, most likely, any bands on Prog Archives.  I do hate a few non prog bands though, mostly the mainstream crap rock of today, though I throw in a little AC/DC hating as well .

On the list I would say DT, but I don't HATE them, i just think like many that they just throw fast music on their album...and of course I don't post-BSS ELP.

I don't like Zappa too.

Hate is such a strong word but I would probably say that post Gabriel and Hackett Genesis are not liked that much by most of the members here.
