I haven't heard (but have heard of) In Cahoots and Delivery, but I
absolutely love what I have from all of the rest of the artists/bands
you have listed. Canterbury is my favorite sub-genre and is also the
one that I know the most about
![]() My favorite band (Canterbury or not) is Soft Machine, Wyatt and post-Wyatt, I like, love, or am obsessed about each individual album I have (see the sig!!!). But like I said, I am truly obsessed with each Canterbury artist ![]() By the way, have you heard this: ![]() A True Masterpiece, I advise all British fusion fans to get this now, if you don't already have it. All-star lineup (including Ian Carr) with some of the most brilliant jazz music ever!!!! |

The most obscure one is "Xitintoday" by Nik Turner's Sphynx, featuring Tim Blake, Mike Howlett, Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy of Gong, + Morris Pert of Brand X on percussion and Harri Williamson of Mother Gong. And of course Nik Turner of Hawkwind on flutes, sax, oboe and muzma. Here the cover: And this is a link to the entry of the album in the archives: http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD. asp?cd_id=8156 The best prog release of 1978. My favourites are Gong, Henry Cow, Hatfield and the North, and Soft Machine, but since I can only choose one, Gong.

There isn't a band on there that I don't like, but Henry Cow get my vote.
