This Poll isn`t about who is the best ... or the most complex its about which of the above bands delivers to you the most emotion when you sit back and listen to the recording.
so which one is it ? (BTW I know I missed plenty just work with these for now , also there are some bands mentioned here that may not be what you would have expected , emotion has many faces)

Porcupine Tree. especially Trains, Lightbulb Sun, Heart Attack In a Layby, Prodigal, Lazarus, and Where We Would Be. Their most 'emotional' album, IMO, is Lightbulb Sun.
But then there are a lot of Pink Floyd songs, like Goodbye Blue Sky, Us And Them, The Great Gig In The Sky, On The Turning Away(I don't care who thinks it's a crap-eighties song), and Welcome To The Machine.

For me, it's definitely Genesis, but also Van Der Graaf, IQ, Pink Floyd, Yes and lots more. Still, Genesis,is unbeatable in delivering emotions IMO

I wish someone could prove to me that Genesis delivers so much emotion, because I just don't really see it. I've never really listened to much Genesis though. Which is it that delivers emotion- the lyrics or music?
