 Topic: Hi, I’m a Noob

I found this site about a half year ago and have been checking out many of the bands listed here. I am a fan of heavy metal(pretty much every subgenre except gothic), and early 90's rap, aside from prog. I'm only 17 and have been listening to progressive rock for about a half year, before then I listened primarily to heavy metal.
My favorite bands are Blind Guardian, Megadeth, Symphony X, and Shadow Gallery.
Thanks to this site I have discovered
Maudlin of the Well, Riverside, Devin Townsend, Circus Maximus, and I have taken an interest in Genesis, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, and Camel.
My knowledge of progressive music(excluding progressive metal) is fairly low and I'm looking forward to discovering great music.
