If I had a puppy I would name it Tessa so it would cooperate well.

I also heard of something called "reviews" ... rumour even has it that there exists a top 100 list of symphonic prog albums somewhere on this website.

That's weird...I've heard of this strange thing called sarcasm....

I just like to get reccomendations from actual people so they can tell me about the album.

Until a few weeks ago I was very pleased to give recommendations but at this moment I wonder how many people like Gentle Tull really read the reviews on this site so Gentle Tull:

1) go to Collaborators

2) search for Erik Neuteboom (symphonic rock specialist)

3) read his more than 700 reviews, loaded with melodic symphonic prog!

4) I hope to hear from you soon, Gentle Tull!

It looks like you've already got Genesis, so how about Camel? Try "The Snow Goose" or "Moondmadness".

^ Thanks, but I already have many Camel cd's, they are one of my favorites.

I am looking for something very similar to Camel.

Who do you think wrote the reviews - robots?

Edit: My sarcasm could also be due to my fear that this thread might be a improved version of the procupine tree-crap thread - to bash modern prog. Let's see what happens when someone recommends a new album.

That was gentletull who started that thread not Gentle Tull.

Indeed ... I stand corrected.

But my initial suggestion is still worth a try:
