yeah then you probably know way more about it than me then haha. I'm like a side listener, I only listen to a little of it. But absolutely love SPK.

and Pulse Demon is awsome, Tokyo Times Ten is my favorite track easily. I have to take breaks between tracks when listening to that CD though haha.

Are there any sites with mp3 samples of Merzbow's music? I've been thinking about getting into him, but I wouldn't like to put my money on albums I might hate.

Er they'r used to be a sample of one of the songs on his myspace. It is very harsh stuff to listen to, so you're smart to want to preview it. Possibly try downloading it from someone or something to that effect.

Thanks anyway. I was hoping there would be some samples on his official site or on fan sites, but I couldn't find any.

Check out Autechre if you want to get into noise.. it's very clicky and swooshy like most noise/indus but with the benefit that most tracks have a constant rhythm.. if you absolutely have to start with Merzbow first then investigate his album "Merzbird".
