Hey all, I'm new here, so I'm probably going to be akward and not fit in for a while... Anyway, here are a few bands I noticed you guys are missing;

Nuclear Rabbit (Avant/RIO)
Sonic Youth (Neo-Prog[?])
Todd Rundgren (yes, there is Utopia, but if Syd Barrett gets his own section why can't the most prolific producer of all time have one?)
Tub Ring (Avant/RIO)

I'll think of more... but if I had to pick one or two of those that had to be on this site I'd say Nuclear Rabbit and Tub Ring.

BTW Thanks for making the coolest site ever :)

EDIT: Just realized you don't have Primus in here (it's definitely got heavy prog influences).

sonic youth is NOT neo prog

experimental/post rock is where they put all the experimental indie, so throw them in there.

Not to mention they aren't prog in any way shape or form.  If we added Sonic Youth we'd have to throw in stuff like The Velvet Underground and other experimental/noisy rock bands.

Rundgren should be here under prog-related, some of his solo albums are undeniably prog.

Especially A Wizard, A True Star

Nuclear Rabbit is a bit of a new contender in the genre of Avant, finding their stuff isn't hard though.

There's one more artist who's missing in the archives. Check my thread: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=21096& PN=1. It's a shame he's not here!
