Topic: Hello Posted: April 12 2006 at 12:49 |
Hello, I'm a happily married man with one child looking to meet
open-minded women with large collections of classic prog albums and
mp3s to be my Sheherezade. I enjoy moonlit walks on the beach
while listening to Gentle Giant on my mp3 player and candlelight
dinners while listening to classic Genesis, Pink Floyd, Camel, King
Crimson, and ELP. If you're a renaissance woman with a good
stereo system, say Yes to me. I'd love to check out your equipment.
-Yours in prog.

Incidentally, if the handle hasn't been taken already, i think changing
my nick to Pink Giant might be more descriptive and apt for this site.

I'm a big Pink Floyd and Gentle Giant admirer. Logan (as in Logan's Run) is a name I use at a sci-fi site.

Welcome aboard Logan. I'm also new around here.
Hmm. Well, you're off to a daring start, and I'm sure you'll meet that special renaissance woman in due time.
I also like Pink Floyd. Especially pre-Dark side Of The Moon Floyd. Which Floyd era do you like?
Enjoy the forum.

Sorry, went off, so late response back.
Thanks for the welcome, and Rando, I actually like all of the albums to
some extent. There are some great Syd Barret songs.
However, I like the Gilmour/ Waters years. My two favourite
albums are post Dark Side and pre The Wall: Wish You Were Here and
Animals.

Funny to see this revived, Micky. The Pink Giant, as an idea, came and went.

And, I'll say to my former self: Where the hell is Magma, Art Zoyd,
Comus, and Henry Cow (amongst many others)? And I thought I was
romantic? Now Comus, that oozes/ gushes romance. Not.
