Enough of these potentially problematic Tool threads already..

..case closed.

Try doing a search for Tool (on the site Search The ForumSearch - not on the Internet you might get a shock....LOL)

Just move on,there is no law that says you have to like Tool.

And Tool is a love/hate band here,so you aren't in a small minority if you don't like them.

I think it's a fairly even split between people here that love Tool and people that can't stand them.

I think Tool are OK, but nothing special. Lateralus is a very impressive and tight album indeed, but nothing like as progressive or as heavy as everyone makes it out to be. I'd still rather listen to Red or THRAK (undeniable influences) than any Tool album.

Tool is a band that you either get or not. It's a matter of taste.

You're far from being alone on this forum who can't get into Tool. Since 10 000 days has got out about a week ago, we see a lot of Tool topics in the forums and maybe that's why you think everybody like them. In fact, I've often seen people complaining about Tool being in this website in the past.

You gotta move on to something else. Maybe it isn't your thing. You're not alone.

Wink

RIP in bossa nova heaven.
