So, I'm watching this PULSE dvd i've got, and I notice that there's no astronomy domine like there is on the CD.  However, there is "one of these days" which is not on the CD.  Are they actually two different concerts, or what's the deal here?

It's impossible that you have watched the offical DVD so have patience .. perhaps that strange fact you noticed will be corrected on the genuine Pulse release by Pink Floyd, I hope!

it's not the official DVD that's coming out in june.  But it is the DVD of the PULSE concert.  I also checked the feature list of the one that's coming out in June and it doesn't have astronomy domine either.

VIDEO

Filmed at Earls Court, London on 20 October 1994.

CD

Astronomy Domine was recorded on 15 October 1994 but it wasn't played on 20 Oct

The performances on the CD are compiled from a number of different shows. I presume the band felt Astronomy Domine was unsuitable for the filmed concert [which also went out live over satellite TV]. I don't know why One Of These Days was left off the CD - would the running time have been too long???
