Bruce Dickinson Airlifts Brits Stranded In Lebanon
By Newsferatu, Writer Friday, July 21, 2006 @ 12:13 AM
Iron Maiden singer and licensed pilot Bruce Dickinson has airlifted 200 British citizens back to the UK yesterday from war-torn Lebanon.
Dickinson flew a Boeing 757 to the island of Cyprus where he picked up the UK nationals and flew them to Gatwick Airport in London.
An unnamed colleague tells the wire service WENN, "He was only too keen to get involved and help. He has a strong interest in the welfare of people caught up in international conflicts and cares about what is going on." |

Bruce still has "the voice", i saw him at the London Guitar show in Wembley recently with Nicko, they did a stunning version of "all the young dudes". BTW - Ghost Rider, how was your week in Britain? was it hot enough for you??

It was two weeks, actually... and yes, I got nearly cooked there! It would've been nice to meet some of you guys, but I had quite a busy time... I may be back later on during the year, so I'll let you know (I remember there was an offer of pizza sometimes in the past...)
