Inclusion in Jazz/Fusion . 'Things We Like' with Jon Hiseman, Dick Heckstall-Smith and John McLaughlin is more than strong argument.

Although I love Jack Bruce, and I think his solo albums are good,
I see him as at least prog-related. JR/F is fine too.
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
