With bands such as the Beatles and Jefferson Airplane getting in Prog Archives as proto prog, I wonder what the general perspective is on Country Joe and the Fish, one of the truly great pioneering psychedelic bands.  Their most progressive album is probably "Electric Music for the Mind and Body", which features some great proggy tracks like Grace, Bass Strings, and Section 43.  Wink

I agree with you, their most prog album is "Electric Music For The Mind And Body", i like that album!
 
I'd say Psychedelic/Space-Rock.
