One of the most prolific King Crimson compositions, what is your favourite live version.

Its an interesting composition, yet not one of Crimsons absolut best. It works awesome as a cressendo for LTIAII...and I sure like it, but its even in the top three songs from that album in my opinion.

Great version on "The Night Watch", there's also two or three more versions on "The Great Deceiver". As el bothy says, really a crescendo/intro for LTIA part II - does end a bit abruptly! One of my very fave pieces by Crimson..

I consider the talking drum and Larks II to be an entire piece and as such the talking drum is a wonderful buildup to the power of Larks II. It makes it seem all the more menacing!

Talking Drum is brilliant when played on a good stereo.
