Fifteen but I'm strictly rhythm, I don't want to make it cry or sing....

18 and I'm still struggling with a lot of stuff. Still don't
know my myxlodians from my phrygians (and don't
really care to), my classical technique is rubbish and
my soloing is largely about 40 takes worth before
something usable is down .....
but every day, in every way - i'm approaching
mediocrity!

18...been playing not seriously since i was 6.

Thats weird you started this thread...i had the BEST guitar jam of my life last night.  My sh*tty band was over for practice so i just started jammin out some crazy sh*t.  I played the first 5 minutes of close to the edge and the star spangled banner within the 20 minute jam.  It refueled me to start up guitar seriously again.

Some 20+ years... however, for a few years I didn't play at all and then picked it up again. The worst part was that I sold every axe I had and when I started to play again it costed me a fortune to get some playable gear together again (and it's still is a bottomless pit to pour money into...

Thanx people, nice to be here.

And, it's nice to be in a place where people don't think you're totally insane because of "our" taste in music.
