I think that Traffic is Progressive because they mixed very good arrangements of Rock music with Psychodelia (Pink Floyd also was psychodelic in their beginning). Traffic also mixed Rock with Folk music, some Latin music influences, and even Jazz-Rock. Traffic was a great band, IMO. Very original. They deserve a space in Progarchives, more than noisy bands like Hawkwind and Faust, and more than other bands like Radiohead (an Alternative Rock band). Anyway, I write reviews only about the bands that I consider Progressive. If you don`t consider Traffic as a Progressive Rock band...you might ignore Traffic in this website, as I ignore Radiohead, Hawkwind and Faust, among others.

What????

There's enough space for alot of bands in Progressive rock. There is no pure form or definition for prog rock except that is experimental and progressive.

Otherwise. I noticed that too. Traffic should be on this site. Although I don't know Steve Windwood decided to leave the band and do solo stuff.

Freedom Rider, good stuff

If that  is so, then you have missing a enjoyable music. Take a listen to "The low spark of high heeled boys", or "dear mister fantasy" and you will not be disappinted.
Please forgive me for my crappy english!
