Snorungarnas Symfoni has 6 ratings.

 

2 five stars (0 written)

1 four star (written)

3 three star (0 written)

 

By my count, this adds up to 2(5) + 2(4) + 3(3) = 27

Divide this by 7 gives you something less than 4.00.  However, the site displays the rating as 4.00.

You are aware that written reviews are weighted higher than 'ratings only'? And Collabs reviews are weighted higher than non-Collabs?

Yes, 1x for unwritten
2x for written non-collab
3x for written collab
 
That is how I calculated it.
 
Think of it this way.  None of the three and five star ratings are backed by a review.
 
Thus, they add up to 3(3) + 2(5) = 19
19/5 = 3.6 stars.
 
One four star review cannot bring that up to four stars, not even if it was written by a collab.  The problem stands.

Collab ratings are x3 regardless of whether there is a review or not.

And, Easy Livin, it seems to me that this implies that any new reviews reviews I write are wasted, because I could just as easily get an album in the top 100 (which is ALL that matters) without writing them anymore!

I just haven't been able to find much to say recently, unfortunately. Cranked out 1300 some words for Sotos - Platypus...


And, on a very odd coincidence, I'm sure you can guess the number of words to my Aphrodite's Child - 666 review (and yes, it was a coincidence... to quote someone we all know, "I just feel out of my seat" when it happened).
