Topic: Rush Setlist Predictions or wishlist Posted: May 14 2007 at 10:15 |
I got my Rush tickets over the weekend for 6/13 in Atlanta (Lawn Seats) .....
Now I am wondering what the might play! The last tour I was able to get to was Test For Echo, so I am not sure what the setlists have been like on the last couple of tours.
Anyway......
Either post a setlist that you think will be like the one they will play on the upcming tour, or post your dream setlist of songs you wish they would play! (If you are really motivated, post both! just specify whether it is the prediction or the wishlist)...I'll post mine later....

Anything could happen...
To be honest, I've got very few ideas about what I'll hear on October 23rd next, but I'd really like them to start, in the second half of the concert, a "past time" section (I'd be satisfied also with a medley) with "The Valley" and put an end to it with "The Fountain".

I will take any song they throw at me, but there is ONE song i would like to hear live, one that they haven't played in any of the seven Rush concerts I've seen, and that would be The Camera Eye.
Would also love to hear Losing It from Signals, Side one from Hemispheres, Marathon or Territories from Power Windows, Lock and Key from Hold your Fire, Vapor Trail from VT, Jacob's Ladder from Permanent Waves, Afterimage or The Enemy Within from Grace Under Pressure, Time and Motion from Test for Echo, Cut to the Chase or Double Agent from Counterparts, Ghost of a Chance from Roll the Bones, Presto (which would fit well with songs from Snakes and Arrows) or Red Tide from Presto...
Now this is purely wishful thinking, but either The Necromancer or The Fountain of Lamneth from Caress of Steel would be sooooooooooooo amazing !!!
Bottom line is, I would like for Rush to play songs they usually don't play, 'cause we don't know how much longer they'll be around !!!

I'd love for them to play By-Tor. And then follow it with The Snow Dog. All the world's a stage & we are merely prayers
