Hmm I wonder the things you don't do so well that you used to do 30 years ago ? Ermm

Although Ian is not the singer he used to be they still put on an entertaining show which is more than I can say for many new bands.

I don't ask people to PAY me for the things I don't do as well as thirty years ago. Oh well, at least the man's flute sounds incredibly beautiful and clear. That really struck me when I saw them live (for the first time) a few years ago!

We will finally see this show on the 23 rd of november at La Place des Arts. It will be kind to see Ian playing in this venue. (it's smaller and the sound is better than in an arena).

I snagged a pair for NJPAC in Newark, as NYC was sold out. Initially I was offered Third Tier; two days later at 1:30 am I checked in and got a pair first row of Grand Tier, which are these boxes just over the orchestra. (Saw Yes there in 2003, fancy opera joint). Looking forward to my first live viewing of JT. Or as a kid said in my high school Spanish class 30 years ago, "Voy a Tull."

They just sold it out. I saw Crimson in the same building a couple of years back. It just wasn`t right. That building gives me the heebee jeebees. I don`t think Bob will be releasing it on the KC collector series.Oh well we`ll see.I dunno. Maybe I`ll get drunk .

Most of these bands are a nostalgia trip now anyway.  To think they could recreate what they did in their youth is pretty high standards for them to live up too.  I saw Tull in the 70's and this will be the first time since 77.  I have seen the DVD's so i know what to expect.

This will probably be the last concert I ever go and see. So much crap out there. Jethro Tull are one of the last bastions.
