What about these guys? I'm not familiar with their second, prog period. The first period might be appealing to the fans of Uriah Heep - Hammond organ is a killer.

I hearttily agree with you.Bloodrock is potential material for inclusion based on their last 3 albums alone.Lots of proggy movements recalling tull,Kansas,Utopia,ect...Warren Ham even played with Kanas in the 80's.
 
This is an overlooked band by the prog community.Passage is an Ameriprog gem IMHO.
