Topic: Aeon Spoke Posted: July 06 2008 at 08:44 |
There's nothing about Aeon Spoke in Progarchives!
The band features Masvidal and Reinart from Cynic.

Check them out!

^ Good band ... their music has nothing to do with metal though. I think they might fit in Crossover Prog, but from my first listen impression - which was a while ago - I'd say Prog-Related.

I would also say they should belong in Prog-related or Crossover. Pretty cool stuff.

^ Maybe they could be added as prog related? Comparing them to Blackfield I don't see a big difference as far as the level of progressiveness is concerned, and they also have members of a key prog band.

I perfectly agree. Also, a lot of Porcupine Tree, Riverside, even Rush songs, if taken individually, are not straight prog, rather than just "melodic cool evoluted soft rock". But I think Aeon Spoke are still very far from, i.e., Coldplay. I don't understand Micky's post: what do you mean by "passed up on by the dynamic duo on the Xover team.."? Bye
