What does everyone think of this band? they're certainly experimental in an indie vain, playing with electronics, noise, layering sounds etc.
Ive been really digging Feels, a CD of theirs and i thought there was an outside chance they were on the archives but i guess they're not. have they been brought up before? what is the general consensus on them as progressive, good, bad, whatever. thanks! mike EDIT - myspace link http://www.myspace.com/animalcollectivetheband Edited by keiser willhelm - July 25 2008 at 14:38 |

I believe they got rejected last time, but I'd support their admission here under psych, folk, crossover, or maybe even prog related.

Yes. Certainly one of the most creative bands today that are really pushing boundaries with their uses of sound.

I don't consider them "prog," but I wouldn't be against having them
here. Their earlier stuff is quite experimental and even after
becoming more commercial, they still seamlessly fuse together
electronic weirdness and catchy indie charm. My favorite indie band
probably and in my top 15 at the moment.

Ive picked up sung tongs and strawberry jam and i think they're my new favorite discovery. i agree with bluesaga. not prog but it'd be nice having them somewhere on the database.

There is no "The" in their name.
Amazing, amazing band. They won't end up here, though. Edited by Moatilliatta - July 29 2008 at 02:16 |
