Here a couple of amazing post rock bands. Both bands are on the heavier side of post rock. Which one would you choose.

Russian Circles easily.

I really enjoy both Enter and Station.

Not an easy choice for me,although once i hear "Station" i'll know. Both of their debuts are masterpieces in my opinion, but RED SPARROWS followup didn't do much for me.

I really love both bands - the Sparowes with their special slide guitar sound and their building of powerful and meditative textures and the Russians for their heavy and dynamic brand of rock.
Right now, I'll go with Russian Circles.

Russian Circles for me as well. Love both, but RC is one of my favorites.

Sparowes. Love their albums. As for Circles, Enter was good, but Station disapponted me a bit.

I have Enter by Russian Circles and thats a pretty cool album.  I've heard a couple Red Sparrows albums, and owned one of those two.  RS was enjoyable the first time around, but then listening to them some more I got pretty bored with them.  It seems that whole instrumental post-metal/rock thing is often abused and the bands sometimes forget they are instrumental which means you need to make the music interesting rather that focus on keeping the same part going for 5 minutes before a minor or big climax.  Russian Circles understands that fact.
