A possible enhancement (if it cannot be already done)...

Is it possible to set up the PA bios such that where a bio mentions another artist as an influence or former band of member or whatever the link to the other artist, the referenced artist's name is a link that will open a new window to that artist's bio?

Cheers,

This coding is the recommended way (not sure if it uses a new window though):

- <a href="http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAND.asp?band_id=443" target="_blank">Peter Hammill</a>

Nope. It opens in the same window.

You can also use this string:
<a href="http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=443" target="_blank">Peter Hammill</a>

or the shorter version which only works on the progarchives server
<a href="artist.asp?id=443" target="_blank">Peter Hammill</a>

target="_blank"
is for opening a new tab or window (it depends on the browser)

It is a bit complicated for my poor, little brain to rememberWink, but I believe it would be a very good idea to have a link to the bios of other bands or artists referenced in a bio. Actually, I was thinking about the same thing when I wrote my latest bio (for the band FreakZoid) - I'd say it would be particularly useful to have the links when the band or artist mentioned is not very well known, and the reader wants to learn more.

Yes - not really handy for everyone - I'm not sure if it is useful when you stimulate to add HTML code to biographies - this could cause some trouble if you don't pay attention - remember the bold and italic flood on the main page sometimes Ouch
